How do you ensure the fish stays fresh during shipping?
All orders are packed in insulated thermal liners with reusable gel ice packs. We use expedited shipping to ensure your smoked fish arrives at your door at the optimal temperature.
How long will my smoked fish last in the refrigerator?
Unopened vacuum-sealed packages typically last 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator. Once opened, we recommend consuming the product within 3 to 5 days for peak flavor and freshness.
Can I freeze your smoked fish products?
Yes, most of our smoked fish can be frozen for up to 3 months. To maintain texture, we recommend thawing the fish slowly in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
Are your products kosher certified?
Yes, the majority of our Acme Smoked Fish products are certified Kosher. Please check the specific product label or description for the Kof-K or OU certification symbol.
What is your return policy for perishable food items?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or with quality issues, please contact our customer service team within 24 hours for a replacement or refund.
Where do you source your salmon?
We source our salmon from sustainable farms in cold-water regions like Norway, Chile, and Scotland, as well as wild-caught sources in Alaska, depending on the specific product variety.
